An antique solid silver ST Christopher bracelet with a central disc featuring an attractive depiction of the Saint carrying Baby Jesus on his shoulders. The rear of the disc acts as an ID bracelet for the sister of the late Queen Mother, Lady Elphinston, with her address and a serial number.

This bracelet was made for a notable member of the English Aristocracy. Lady Mary Elphinstone. Lady Elphinstone was born The Honourable Mary Frances Bowes-Lyon on 30 August 1883 in Angus, Scotland, to Claude Bowes-Lyon, 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck. She was an elder sister of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon known as Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom (later the Queen Mother).
She was both a biological Aunt and a Godmother to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Although she was born and died in Scotland, She and her husband LOrd Alphinstone were known to have bought property in both the Bagshot and Pinewood areas of Surrey - the English county mentioned on this ID bracelet
