Curator's Note

This little locket really does have everything going on. It’s solid 9ct yellow gold (many gold lockets are plated or only fitted with gold panels on the front and back, with base metal frames.) It has the ever-popular sunburst etched detail, which has both an art deco and a retro appeal, and it’s set with lovely natural turquoises.
