An unusual silver and copper heavy ring with a mounted bone or ivory tablet featuring a beautiful hardstone hand-carved bird inlaid into the base material. The bird has been realised with stunning detail, including a tiny red eye and little legs carved into the bone or ivory backing.
The ring itself is a handmade cast ring with decorative copper details.
A very solid ring with good weight - with genuine original inlay work using the Japanese Shibayama technique.

Condition: The ring is in good condition. The face of the ring has suffered a knock at some point with a small amount of damage to the ivory/bone material and perhaps a small chip to the Shibayama bird, but this is difficult to see.
